- Contains 500mcg of folic acid. This is the recommended level based on the Australian diet. It has been shown that if this amount of folic acid is taken each day for one month before becoming pregnant and during early pregnancy it may reduce the likelihood of certain birth defects such as spina bifida
- Contains 12mg of iron to supplement the daily dietary intake
- Contains organic chelated form of iron - easy to absorb and digest in the body
- 150mcg of Iodine- ensures optimal thyroid function. Helps foetal growth and normal physical and mental development
