Dimetapp Chesty Cough is great for Children’s Congested Coughs that are often associated with the common cold.

Dimetapp Chesty Cough:

Who can use this product

Children 6 years to under 12 years (only on the advice of a doctor, pharmacist or nurse practitioner)
Adults and children 12 years and over

Do not use

in children under 6 years
if tamper evident cap seal is broken or missing

Active Ingredients

Each 10mL contains

Guaiphenesin 200mg
Bromhexine Hydrochloride 8mg

Also contains

Sodium benzoate, saccharin sodium, sorbitol (10.5g/30mL).
Products containing sorbitol may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea.

Dosage

A measuring cup is included with this product for accurate dose measurement.

Do not use in children under 6 years old. Use in children aged 6 to 11 years only on the advice of a doctor, pharmacist or nurse practitioner.

Caution: Stop use and consult a doctor if you have a cough that persists for more than 1 week, tends to recur or is accompanied by fever, rash or persistent headache. These could be signs of a serious condition.

Keep to recommended dose. If an overdose is taken or suspected, ring the Poisons Information Centre (Australia 13 11 26) or discontinue use and seek professional assistance immediately.
