Zo-Rub OA Analgesic Cream 45g

Zo-Rub OA is a topical analgesic cream with a targeted action that works directly at the source to help relieve the pain of osteoarthritis. It is suitable for everyday use to help relieve chronic osteoarthritis pain, either used on its own or alongside existing systemic analgesics.

What it's used for: Symptomatic relief of pain associated with osteoarthritis.

Who it's for: Adults with osteoarthritis. Not recommended for use on children.

Key benefits: Contains capsaicin, a naturally occurring substance found in plants of the Solanaceae family. It is thought to work by reducing levels of substance P, a chemical involved in transmitting pain impulses to the brain and released into joints in osteoarthritis, giving a pain-relieving effect when applied to the skin.

Directions: Adults: apply a small, pea-sized amount to the affected area 3-4 times daily. After applying with the fingers, wash hands immediately unless the hands are the area being treated.

Active ingredient: Capsaicin 0.025% w/w.

Other ingredients: Benzyl alcohol, Cetyl alcohol, Glyceryl 1-monostearate, Isopropyl myristate, Purified water, Sodium citrate, Sorbitol, White soft paraffin.

Allergen information: Contains benzyl alcohol as a preservative.

Possible side effects: May cause temporary burning on application. This burning is observed more frequently when the cream is applied less than 3-4 times daily, and typically eases with regular, consistent use.

Warnings: For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes or broken or damaged skin. Do not bandage tightly. Not recommended for use on children. If the condition does not improve after 28 days, worsens, or clears up and then recurs within a few days, discontinue use and consult your physician.

Storage: Store below 25°C, away from heat.
