KetoSens Blood β-Ketone Test Strips 10 Pack

KetoSens strips measure blood β-ketone (beta-hydroxybutyrate) levels using the CareSens Dual meter. Each strip is individually foil-wrapped, needs 0.5 µL of blood and gives a result in 8 seconds. No coding required.

Compatibility

For use with the CareSens Dual blood glucose and β-ketone meter only. Will not work in CareSens N-family meters.

Directions

• Insert a KetoSens strip into the CareSens Dual meter; the meter switches to ketone mode automatically.
• Touch the tip of the strip to a fresh blood drop until the window fills.
• Wait 8 seconds and read the result (mmol/L). Dispose of the used strip safely.

Warnings & precautions

• For in-vitro diagnostic self-testing only. Test strips are single use.
• Use only with the compatible meter listed above. Using strips with another meter may give incorrect results.
• Do not use strips past the expiry date printed on the pack. Dispose of expired and used strips safely.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Always read the label and test strip instructions and follow the directions for use.
• If your ketone reading is high, or you have symptoms of illness, nausea or vomiting, contact your doctor or follow your sick-day plan promptly.

Storage

Store between 4–30 °C and 10–90% relative humidity. Do not freeze. Keep strips sealed in their foil until use.
