Compatibility

Uses CareSens N blood glucose test strips only.

Directions

  • Set the date and time before first use (see the user manual). Australian units are mmol/L.
  • Wash and dry your hands. Insert a new test strip into the meter to switch it on.
  • Obtain a small blood drop with the lancing device and touch the tip of the strip to the drop; the strip draws blood in automatically.
  • Read the result on screen. Remove and safely dispose of the used strip and lancet.

Warnings & precautions

  • For in-vitro diagnostic self-testing only. Not for diagnosis of diabetes. Do not change medication or treatment based on meter results without speaking to your doctor or diabetes educator.
  • If results do not match how you feel, or seem unusually high or low, repeat the test and contact your healthcare professional.
  • Meters and lancing devices are for single-person use. Never share them, and never reuse lancets.
  • This device contains a button/coin cell battery. Keep batteries and small parts out of reach of children. If swallowed, seek medical help immediately.
  • Always read the label and user manual and follow the directions for use.
