• If applied during the prodromal stage, it can prevent blister formation, or at least reduce the severity of the attack.
• If applied during the second stage, It will also prevent secondary infection of the blister.
• If applied during the third stage, it will help an infected blister heal.

Active Ingredients:

Contains 10% w/w Povidone-Iodine. Equivalent to 1% w/w available Iodine.

Directions:

Apply the Betadine Cold Sore product liberally to the affected area at least four times a day.
