Amcal Lysine Plus is formulated with key ingredient, Lysine, an essential amino acid, that helps reduce the symptoms and occurrence of facial cold sores. Lysine is proven to not only form the body's proteins including collagen in the skin but is proven to discourage the cold sore virus from replicating. Lysine cannot be synthesised by the human body, and therefore needs to be obtained from dietary sources. Lysine alongside Vitamin C and Zinc support skin health. Cold sore outbreaks can be triggered due to a weak immune system. Amcal Lysine Plus contains ingredients such as Vitamin C, Zinc and Echinacea to support immune system health and to better fight the virus causing the occurence of cold sores.
If symptoms persist, talk to your health professional. Vitamin and mineral supplements should not replace a balanced diet. Contains zinc which may be dangerous if taken in large amounts or for a long period.
Store below 25°C. Do not use if foil cap seal is broken or missing.
For cold sore relief, take 1 tablet 3 times a day.
