Studies have shown that over time Glucosamine can decrease inflammation in the joints and help to relieve pain and stiffness caused by osteoarthritis. Glucosamine can also help to slow the progressive joint damage that often occurs with osteoarthritis. Chondroitin can also thought to enhance joint lubrication and shock absorption, which is particularly important for the weight bearing joints such as knees and hips.
