Amcal Calcium & Vitamin D is formulated with a high dose of calcium at 600mg with a supporting dose of 500IU Vitamin D to promote calcium absorption in the body. Both essential nutrients work synergistically to maintain bone and muscle strength. A diet deficient in calcium can lead to osteoporosis in later life. Calcium may help prevent osteoporosis when dietary intake is inadequate.
