Compatibility

Uses FreeStyle Optium blood glucose strips and FreeStyle Optium β-ketone strips. FreeStyle Lite strips will not work in this meter.

Directions

• Set the date and time before first use (see user manual). Australian units are mmol/L.
• Wash and dry your hands. Insert a new test strip to switch the meter on.
• Obtain a small blood drop with the lancing device and touch the strip to the drop.
• Read the result. Remove and safely dispose of the used strip and lancet.

Warnings & precautions

• For in-vitro diagnostic self-testing only. Not for diagnosis. Do not change treatment based on meter results without talking to your doctor or diabetes educator.
• If results do not match how you feel, repeat the test and contact your healthcare professional.
• Meters and lancing devices are for single-person use. Never share them or reuse lancets.
• Contains a button/coin cell battery. Keep batteries and small parts out of reach of children; if swallowed, seek medical help immediately.

Storage

Store the meter in its case at room temperature, away from moisture and direct sunlight.
